Sistema de fornecimento de gás
Gas Supply System — the lungs of the machine and gas delivery.
Working gas pressures:
1) High pressure gases (air, nitrogen, argon) — from 14-16 to 28-29 Bar.
❗Compressed air must be prepared:
1) dryer must be installed;
2) oil separator must be installed;
3) 3 precision filters must be installed for dust fractions from 0.1 to 0.001.
Ready-made air compressor solutions exist for lasers.
2) Oxygen — up to 9 bar output pressure from cylinder or cryocylinder. ❗Over 9 bar, the pressure regulator membrane will burst!
Gas delivery:
Gas is delivered via magnetic valves, regulation via electromagnetic valve.
Popular solution: gas regulation only on the oxygen line, as it is adjustable down to hundredths, which is very important for fine-tuning cutting quality.
High pressure gas delivery is usually not regulated, as the higher the pressure, the better the cutting quality.
Gas types:
Inert gases:
• high pressure nitrogen;
• high pressure argon.
Active gases:
• oxygen;
• high pressure air.
Main working gases: nitrogen, oxygen, and air.
Materials and gases:
• Non-ferrous metals and stainless steel — nitrogen or high pressure air;
• Ferrous metal — high pressure air or oxygen.
