Beam centering or alignment is the process of adjusting the position of the focusing or collimator lens relative to the nozzle hole.
Affects cutting quality, speed, consumption of protective glasses and nozzles.
Required to check beam position:
1) Transparent tape;
2) 1.5 mm nozzle (double or single);
3) Hex key for your adjustment screws;
4) Cheat sheet from this menu.
Process:
1) Return focal value to 0;
2) Replace nozzle with 1.5 mm;
3) Stick tape on nozzle;
4) Make a single laser pulse;
5) Look at the tape for puncture relative to nozzle hole;
6) Adjust beam position with adjustment screws.
